A key part of the project was ensuring the announcement could be shared with family and friends across different countries. To accommodate this, I delivered the card in three language versions: English, Dutch, and Croatian — making the joyful news accessible to all loved ones.
Personal Illustrations
To add a meaningful and unique element to the birth announcement, I created custom illustrations based on childhood drawings made by both parents.
These illustrations were subtly integrated into the design, adding warmth, character, and a beautiful sense of continuity — connecting the parents’ past to their child’s present in a deeply personal way.
